DESCRIPTION

Introducing Ming (明), our ceremonial-grade matcha named after the Chinese character for light and clarity — a quiet nod to the brightness that rises with the first light of morning.

Grown in the high-altitude plateaus of Guizhou Province, at the foot of the sacred Fanjing Mountain, each tea leaf is nurtured by cool mountain air and wrapped in a soft veil of morning mist. This natural blanket slows the leaves’ growth, intensifying their colour, sweetness, and gentle umami.

Finely milled to a silky texture and vibrant green hue, enjoy it as a pure, traditional whisked matcha, or as a latte for an extra creamy cup.

  • Grade: Ceremonial (First-harvest)
  • Origin: Guizhou Province, Fanjing Mountain
  • Elevation: 1,000m high-altitude plateaus
  • Flavour: Gentle umami, natural sweetness, hint of bitterness with a clean mineral finish
PREPARATION

We recommend using 55-60°C water for the smoothest whisk.

Usucha (Thin Matcha)

Iced Matcha Latte
Whisk 4g of Matcha Powder to 40ml of Water. Pour over cup with ice and 100ml of milk

Hot Matcha Latte
Whisk 2g of Matcha Powder to 25ml of Water. Steam milk and pour.

STORAGE & CARE

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

For best freshness, keep refrigerated after opening and allow the tin to return to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.
